His another quality is he is very good in Mathematics. Ishan is a former cricketer.
In his locality, he is the best cricketer. He does not know anything except cricket. Omi is one type full boy. His does not have any knowledge.
He knows that he does not do anything.
He depends on his friends. In the locality, he has a shop of cricket instruments. The all hopes of his life are built around his shop.
He would make a big shop. The earthquake perished him with dust.
But he had a strong mentality. He started everything from the beginning.
Already, Govind had fallen in love with Vidya who is a sister of Ishan. Does Ishan support all of these?
In the meantime, Ishan found a talent named Ali. He wanted to build up Ali as a big cricketer. But, so many obstructions come in front of them.
But, at that time, Hindu-Muslim riots began. But before they can move in, the Bhuj Earthquake of crushes the mall, their future plans and most of all their dreams. And they are back to the humble shop in the temple complex. Because they are renting his shop, and because they would need to continue renting it for some more time, they decide to attend a political rally just one time to appease Mama. Ishan discovers an exceptionally talented child, Ali, and dreams of grooming him to play for the Indian Cricket team, a latent personal dream that he could never fulfill.
There is a trip to Goa as well as Australia to get Ali to meet and get coached by the best. Religious politics and the Godhra Riots are further added to this broth to turn the world of the 3 friends upside down, and causing Govind to make two more of his mistakes.
This book is missing both.
The story seems forced; the language is pedestrian and certain situations unbelievable. In spite of situations like natural calamities, love, despair etc, no passion comes through.
This book made for an insipid read, akin to reading an electronics manual.
